Record Heat?

So, here is the record we have hit in Denver: 20+ days of 90 degree weather

Today we are in the 80's and it is so much cooler, especially last night, I had to put on a jacket while outside. But I just heard someone complaining about the heat. Let me put a perspective on this whole heat thing....

Here's the record they hit in Dallas the last summer (2002) I lived there: 25+ days of over 100 degree weather

Here in Denver we maybe have a month of hot days in the 90s. In Texas and Oklahoma you get over 90 - 100 degree days all summer long AND there is the humidity. Its amazing how quickly I forget how hot it is in the south compared to here. No one in Denver who has ever lived in the south should complain about the heat - unless you have no air conditioning in your house like me. But even at that, the very fact that it seems logical for a house to not have air conditioning in Denver is a significant insight into how things are here.

I don't sweat in Denver when I just open the door to get the mail like I would in Texas and I am grateful! I love living here!
